instruments basically translate to a Risk vs.
Return trade off for the trader.
As the trader moves down through the list above, he or she is faced with higher
risks at each level, commensurate with higher potential returns due to the higher leverage
amounts. In each case, the leverage is gained by borrowing capital against the investments
from the broker.
